Saturday night may or may not be Arfeo's bachelor party, and I may or may not be excited. Just how big of an event is this, you ask? Well, it necessitates Giz's return to Texas. That's right - our very own prodigal son returns.
Red shorts and Mogwai, together again.
But first, here are a few cool things to make your Friday go by faster, all NES related.
First, he recreates screen shots with Legos. Poop, yes!Most of you have probably already seen this one, with all the video game commercials archived, but the Mario ones are always worth a revisit.
And lastly, maps. More specifically, screen cap maps. There are the obligatory Zelda and Mario maps, but more interesting are the GTA San Andreas ones. Pretty slick.
Oh, I lied. For real lastly, MAKE SURE you check out the Star Wars thing I posted last night. It makes me pee myself.

That is a great link. Well have a good time if you happen to mysteriously arrive at a bachelor party.
I remember trying to learn all the secrets to the Mario and Zelda games--all the tunnels or magic items you could find behind walls or cracks. Fun.
metal gear, if you ever needed a map to complete a game that was it. I left my nintendo on for 2 months to beat a game one time because the internal battery had died, thats dedication and a testament to the greatness of the nes.
